Happy Birthday Salty !!

One of my friends bought space in the Sitka paper claiming I turned 60. My mother got off the Salty in August of 49 and I was born in the Wrangell hospital which was doubling as storage for canned salmon from the record late run in 49. Or so the story goes.
Looking forward to the last coho trip of the season the next couple of days.
Spent the 3rd running down Icy Straits and Chatham this year. What a wonderful place SE Alaska is.
