Freakin' amazing, eh?
You've watched this for years. What other options for management can you suggest here?
I'd like to offer whatever of my time and talents to work on some other fair way to manage this. Racing for the fish is not good. Just imagine the race next year in spite of whatever Patti. and others may assure us.

We have suggested changes for years. Focusing on solutions before defining the problem is not a process that works well in my experience. Is there a problem? How would you define it? One of the problems I see is that trying to manage salmon based on preseason abundance modeling does not work. Alaska's success in rebuilding the runs and sustaining high levels of harvest is based on in season management.
