Salty~...yes, My mast,cross tree & haul-up lines are too low for proper support. So after several bent over bow poles later..this Is a solution which eventually became obviouse. It works well for now..plans are this winter to raise the cross tree & supports. When the haul-up lines are nice & tight there Is about a 4-6" sag In the line between the poles....I got lazy & did'nt adjust after a day or two of bouncy weather Is why the photo shows It being tight..thanks for the reply salty...
Wow, great composition, framing. Spent the day yesterday out deer hunting in an aluminum skiff. What a spectacular place SE Alaska is. This isn't a pole picture but it captures the day yesterday.

Hmmm... Not sure, Eric. I suspect the weight of all that gold at bow's end depressed the water surface in some manner. I'll have to ask daughter Lena who is solely responsible for capturing that splendid sight. Aloha.
