For Sale: Detroit 4-71 Marine Diesel, 509 gear, keel cooler, hydraulic pump, hynautics and much more. Upgrading and selling entire re-power for 7k. May also part out. Call 907-738-3141. Boat is located in Sitka.

4-71 Detroit: Runs Excellent; will still be installed and running until January 29, 2009. Engine is currently installed in a 47’, 35 gwt troller, and cruises at 7.5-8 knots burning 5 gph. Trolling burns 1 gph. Can test/listen to the engine until Jan 28th.

Package includes: Engine w/ all alarms (oil and water), Spencer 432 series constant flow hydraulic pump, 509 Twin Disc 2.95-1 gear w/ Cessesna PTO, 1 ¾ “ Keel Cooler, 4 station Hynautic Control system and many more extras that go with the engine.

Entire system could provide an affordable re-power.
