What would be the difference between regular and roller cannon balls ?

I think this is kinda what he is referring to Ron. One lead has a plain eye to hook up your wire and the other has a hole drilled through the lead and a metal rod inserted and bent so as to make it roll incase of a snag on a shallow or something.
