I just purchased a new boat in oregon. Does enyone now if i am required to stop at customes in canada on my way up?

I have not made the passage for several years and someone who has will post the current regulations. It used to be that you had to contact the Canadian Coast guard when you crossed the border and then check in with customs. I think that you need a passport now. Again someone who has recently made the trip will set you strait.
