Hi All:

ATA Port Meeting is set for this Thursday - 2:30pm - WESTMARK HOTEL (not Centennial). Hope to see you there!

Then on Friday morning we'll be doing the annual membership drive, so I hope you'll plan to help out - join - or both! Membership Chairman Bob Fredrickson (FV New Day) will provide details at the port meeting, but it will be easy to spot us and get involved, as we'll be swarming the docks all morning and will happily add you to the pack. Last year we formed up at ANB in the morning, and I'm guessing that's Bob's plan again this year. We'll probably be done around lunch time, so it's pretty low commitment for a volunteer gig.

Bob says that folks should show up at ANB at 10:30am. If folks want to help, but can'tbe there right then, no worries. Just look for us and tag along, or get supplies and form a new group. It's likely most folks are gonna want to spend a short amount of time and then get back to chores, but I'll be in town until early Sunday morning, so can work with whoever is interested until we're done on Saturday.

And, if the closure is long enough in August, people should just let me know if you're interested in helping with a similar event and we'll make a plan.

And, taking some materials to do this in other ports would be greatly appreciated! It's hard to get to everyone, so we generally focus where there are the most people -for efficiency/expense...not because we want to neglect trollers in other ports.

It's very important to get our numbers up so we can cover more bases for the fleet - there's always so much to do and expenses continue to rise, as we all know.
