Just a friendly reminder as you complete your boat work checklist to also check your dues status with ATA. Past due? Never been a member? Retired (there's a new category!)? We'd love to see your name on the roster - and bring your friends, too. After all, numbers equal strength!
An added bonus is that ATA dues can be written off your taxes - we average a rate of 97% deductible each year.
Board of Fisheries, Treaty, Fish Farming, habitat protection, USCG Safety Regs, EPA discharge permitting, the quest for Healthcare, and many, many more issues keep board and staff constantly busy. Your dues and contributions are very much appreciated.
Also important is keeping the ATA Legal Fund tuned up - seems there's always something needed there.
Finally, the Annual ATA Raffle is an important source of both funding and fun - tickets on sale now!
ATA accepts all forms of cash and VISA and MasterCard. See attached membership form for a list of dues rates. To make it easy on you, we will also pass through dues contributions to the following groups: United Fishermen of Alaska, Commercial Fishermen of America, Halibut Coalition, and Save Our Wild Salmon.
Fair winds - mild cures!
