Here are a few things we've done to improve the boat:
Replaced every inch of electrical wiring in the boat. From the battery cables (1/0) to the GPS antenna.
Polished & cleaned the inside of hydraulic shifting control box on the Capitol transmission (it was sticking).
Replaced the rudder mount (It was barely hanging in there).
Painted the interior (Angie's idea. I feel a lot happier in the boat now).
Refinished the interior trim.
Built a double bunk in the focsle.
Fixed the autopilot.
Switched to spin-on secondary fuel filters.
New fuel injectors for the engine.
Removed and cleaned the starter & solenoid (didn't help).
Replaced the fuel pump for the stove.
Replaced the tachometer.
New stove stack.
Replaced and reworked the throttle and shifting system.
Installed an alarm system with these detectors: Engine overheat, Engine room fire, Low engine oil, Stove Fire/Overheat, and Bilge water level.
Installed a GPS linked to a laptop computer for navigation.
New running lights, mast light, and deck lights.
New house batteries, inverter (Item #TRPI014),
10 amp dual-bank battery charger
, and associated wiring.
New waterproof VHF radio.
New Interior lights and engine room lights.
I know there are hundreds of small things I can't even remember.

I'm sure it's a labor of love!
