I'm not exactly sure why the board disappeared, but I just cleared the cached files and it it back.

Thanks for your patience,

Jon

I'm glad the board's back up, It has turned into such a habit to check it, it has seemed weird not being able to get on. No idea what causes that huh? oh well, at least we didn't lose everything.

Jon,

Thanks, I really missed visiting and reading here. Better copy the stories I submitted here so they don't disappear forever. I have posted some pictures on Picasa Web Albums and have had some positive feedback, even an inquiry about using them to promote Alaska Wild Salmon.

I have thousands of photos but only a few worth sharing. I hope you enjoy them.

I do make daily backups of everything on the server, including this website. So barring a large natural disaster everything is restoreable if something more sever were to happen.

Thanks for sharing your photos :)

I've spent the last several months reading all the "how to" advice on here trying to get all the info I could before deciding to purchase a boat and after going forward with the purchase last week, my "support group" went away. I'm very glad you got it back up and running :!:

Wow Jon, Thanks for getting it back up. I was worried. This site is so

very helpful. If I had to walk docks to get all this info it would take forever.

Getting engine for boat this weekend. Hope you are good, again,

SUPER SITE!!

Thanks

Jon,

I was thinking I should collect and backup all my stories, or at least some of the ones I posted here. I didn't mean some one else or you should do it. But, yeah, it would be great if you backed the stories here up because some trolling history is starting to accumulate. It was a gaping hole in my day, my week, when I thought all of that was gone forever. Thank you so much for creating this forum for us.

I am trying to figure out how to post the powerpoint presentation I just made to NSRAA and got a lot of positive feedback on to my Picasa web site. When I figure that out I will post a link here.

You know the Sitka Maritime Heritage Society hosted a troll history discussion last winter and I know it was taped. There were some great stories. I wonder if somehow we could get a copy of that and post it on u-tube and post a link here?
