How many shakers did you go through to catch 10 in Clarence? Maybe the shakers show up later but when I fished in Clarence, years ago now, it sure was a problem.

Not much to report here. At least a couple of guys headed down toward Craig where there was a report of better fishing at least for a couple of days. I am communicating with four guys who are pretty serious and not one of them has fished the last two days even though the weather was fishable. Scores seem to be 1-4 for a full day.
But then the herring are spawning and it is often slow until after they are done. I am hauling out this morning to get "tuned up" in case some fish do show up. One of the guys went up to the NPFMC meeting to try and help deal with the unsustainable carbon guzzling resource damaging guided sport fishery.

Eric I am going to take a few days off and let tides go over top,,seems to me that in the strait when the tides are this big the fishing is real poor.
