Line voltage voodoo

Hello boys and girls, I've lost all control of my mental faculties due to constant abuse of skittles and diet coke. I want my last coherent remark to matter so here it goes..... How do you impress current DOWN the troll wire when when there's such a good path right TO the boat?? Won't it just go back to the nice easy ground and not many fathoms away down the wire? Are we talking about conduction or induction? I don't remember much from university, just boobs, tubes and doobs ,

(Humboldt State class of 85) but did they change the laws of physics in the last 30 years or what? I really don't care, I just operate the boat, run the gear and clean the fish, but please let's get a grip on this, no offense but can we perhaps hear from someone out there (at PhD level please) with an electrical engineering background who can comment on if this is even possible? I'm not saying there isn't a relationship between the forces of electrolysis and galvanism, fishing boat bonding and catch, but I can't go on like this, please put me out of my misery!!

sometimes you're the dog...other times you're the hydrant!

PhD guy, huh? They think we're too dumb to understand the concepts, because they often really don't understand them themselves. A man or woman that REALLY understands their subject can explain it in simple terms. The refuge of the fakers is purposely making things sound more complicated than they have to be.

I had my PhD brother up top while I was in the hold getting dimensions for him to cut styrofoam insulation for my slush tank. Do you think the pieces he cut and passed down to me fit?

They did not.

Not even close.

You have to believe in magic to fully embrace the line voltage, magnetic field voodoo. But, I believe I have met a few wizards.

Turning the wrong switch on and reversing the polarity on your inverter for the month of July is not such a great performance enhancer.
