Has anyone on here used or heard anything about the fuel additive called CA40? You can check it out online at CA40direct.com . I'm asking because it sounds too good to be true.

Be careful what you dump in your tanks,,there are bound to be lots of snake oil claims out there with high fuel prices.

Yep. There's a big topic about it here. There are posts from the makers of the product who say they've spent a million bucks on it, but can't afford to test it accurately. Nor can they post the results of the supposed tests that they claim "Cummings" ran on it. Quite a few people have chimed in to say they've tested it in controlled situations and it does nothing.

If it worked, I'm guessing it would be a huge selling point for the oil companies to say their gas gives you 10% better mileage, and they're not saying that. :D
