Which booster is a good one on the boat for an Iphone 4s? I have an old antennae that use to plug into my flip phone, but the new iphones don't have an external plug. I was hoping to somehow use my old antenna but don't know how to lash it up to the new iphone. I have been reading that Wilson makes a good booster that the iphone picks up without being hard wired.
The new wireless Wilson boosters are good. Wilson also makes a velcro on instead of a plug that you can use on your Iphone that works good with your old booster.

Okay I will ask a question about signal and see if its worth it in my case. Seem to have decent reception all of Cross Sound to almost Surge Bay. Will these cell phone boosters give you all the way to Deer Harbor? Early in the summer I only had normal service in that same area and then about the end of July started getting 3G. Is that the norm?

3G happened in Cross Sound on the 22nd of July after their edge network crap quit working almost all together earlier in the season and a pile of complaints ensued.
BTW, my phone said 4G ....
I have a 12 volt signal booster that boosts my signal from my mast 9db antenna. From the booster I have a pigtail adapter that velcro's on to the back of my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone. Without the booster my service stops between Hoktaheen and the podium at surge bay.
With the booster on, I get service way out past the double 19's below Cape Cross all the way up to just past Icy point.
I got my antenna adapter from ebay.
