Back when I was studying fisheries in 76-77 we knew that salmon used the earths magnetic field to get close to home and then their sense of smell to precisely home in on their home river and tributary. Interesting refinements here but not major news to me. Now, if they used this research money to research how and why they orient toward the low voltage field around our boats it might be real interesting to me.
