Ok guys I need some of your input. Right now I have two totes on the deck of my boat "the Vickie Rann" each tote holds 900 lbs of fish. I usually run with five tons of ice in the fish hole and have never had any problems no matter how rough the weather gets. The boat is 48 feet long and 13 feet wide she draw close to 7 feet when iced. she is a double ender, I also have 6000 lbs of lead in the two forward fish bins which I never use to ice fish in. Right now I usually load both side bins which carry 250 fish and the totes on deck which carry 90 to 110 iced fish. I am thinking on building two custom fish boxes on deck that would hold 1800 lbs of fish on each side for a total of 3600 lbs. does any one know of any person in the Sitka area that does stability tests or any of you that might have knowledge on any thing like this. I would hate to roll it over on her side just trying to make life easy on my old bones. Any input would be welcome.
