This is the first indicator of salmon survival conditions in their spring outmigration. While it is used to predict pink salmon I think it also gives us an overall idea for how juvenile salmonids fared that spring.
While the forecast for pinks is average, reading the details leads to information that survival conditions appeared good in the Icy Straits corridor this spring.
