Due to the popularity of the "You know you are a lowliner when....... thread I thought I might start a lowliner excuses thread. In the vein of "the dog ate my homework".
So here is one I heard this week:
"I can't go fishing tomorrow because I have to get my hair cut."
Many of these excuses come from the same friend or my own excuses but some come from radio and coffee shop stories.
Please share yours.

I cant go fishing 'till I get some new rain gear.......and the forecast calls for clear, slight winds and cool temps for the rest of the week.

I can't go fishing because I have an appointment to be fitted for a tuxedo. ( I actually heard this excuse this week.)
Since I have never worn a tuxedo I don't imagine I will ever use this one.
My Obamacare will be cheaper.

1. Lost my sunglasses and the sun came out.
2. "Wild Fish Conservation" guilt.
3. Missed my dog.
1. Had to wait for the salt to toughen-up my herring.
2. Had to clean my stove soot off the white pleasure boat across the catwalk.
3. All of my coding partners are on a road trip to Las Vegas.
4. I was working on my starboard pole's cables and taglines at the work float and couldn't find anyone to help me pull the pole back up.
