I have a set of 2 spool gurdies that are going to need some work fairly soon. I have to figure out who made them in order to locate spare parts. They have

Char Lynn motors and Turnbull marine control valves. However I beleive the spools are aluminum. They work ok, but the spools are starting to suffer some significant corrosion and will need replacement or repair. If anyone has any ideas please help! See pics

I have non conductive plastic spools and parts for those types of gurdies. As far as I know Turnbull spools were always brass. Those valves are very good. They are much better than the aluminum block PTP valves that were commonly used on those types of gurdies. There were lots of home made and knock off brand in the 70's and 80's for small boats. Never seen aluminum spools. Call me 503-939-9108
