Fishing Safety Gear - Wireless alarm systems?

Has anyone tried any of these systems? You wear a small device and if you fall in the water or go to far away from the boat it set off an alarm on the boat.

I was thinking of buying one of these:

I'd put a tag on myself, angie, the dog, and the cat. If nothing else I think I'd be able to actually take a nap in the middle of the day without worrying as much about someone falling over.

having fished alone most of my life not sure what a nap is or what i would do if i fell off boat.
