Hello, I am wondering what other types of motors can be used on a boat instead of a GM 371

The boat is 40x11x6 . and it currently has an old gm 371 that needs to rebuilt so What would be the best advise

Assess the damage in the old motor and Rebuild the gm 371 .

Find another New gm 371

OR What other types of motors could be used
