Round pinks will probably be up. Round chums about the same or slightly upward. Dressed troll coho will be lucky to stay the same unless they are big. Kings are such an outlier and we catch relatively so few that it is really hard to predict.
What is easy to predict is more trollers chasing fewer SE chums in 2012.
The cold spring in SE, May must be the coldest, windiest, and wettest in my lifetime of 62 years in SE. (I was away at college in May for a few.) Not so good for all our outmigrating salmon.
Oh well, at least we dont have a whole bunch of diseased farm salmon like the Canadians.

Lots of variables. They are hammering sockeye in Prince William sound right now. These are the most sought after salmon of summer, and they're flooding the fresh market early. From what I've been told though, it's the frozen farm cohos from Chile that is the biggest threat. They share thesame markets. Given the current projections as a baseline, iv'e been hearing scary numbers like a buck a lb. For troll coho. Of course, variables vary, but I've been hearing these scary projections from a few different sources, the threat sounds real. All who can should look at direct marketing options. Troll chums can only bere so much weight. Troll pinks maybe? Price looks fair on those. Sure would be nice slushing round, I gotta say that.
I agree with Salty, nastiest May in memory. We havn't been getting quite the storm action you have, but it DID snow a couple of inches a week or 2 ago. Most mornings you can still see your breath. I want global warming back!

Wow,
That is really something. But, today dawns clear and calm, yahoo. Of course it could be predicted from my engine hours as any day I schedule an oil change it gets nice and sunny.
