2012 Winter and Spring Troll Fisheries

Hi All:



WINTER

Heads up... looks like the winter fishery is likely to close a couple of days before April 30. This morning there were 35,400 fish entered into the fish ticket system, but lots of boats are out in this nice weather. No word on exactly when the closure will occur, but keep your ear to the radio, or check the ADFG news release link below.

FREEZER BOAT OPERATORS: The 2012 winter exemption form can be found at the following link - this allows you to legally take heads from adipose fin clipped fish at sea. Hi All:



Be sure to double check the news release when it comes out, but sounds like the fishery will close at midnight (11:59PM) tomorrow (Friday April 27).



Fish tickets that have been entered into the system are already up to 43,000.
