Anybody think this show is any good? I don't have a television, so I am curious. I can always see it on DVD or stream if it's worthwhile. I do know that the Sitka herring fishery always made for good entertainment when I was a little kid watching it with binoculars.

I watched part of it and could just see myself fishing with 2 of my daughters. Especially when they showed the scenes for the next episode. Yelling Screamin name callin and cryin. But I thought the show was kinda cool.

Hope my dream of owning a Troller in the next 2 years comes true and I can have the girls come up and fish with me. They all have been to Alaska a few times and Love it.

Rumor has it that TLC has cancelled Hook Line and Sisters. Much to the disappointment of those that just like to watch commercial fishing, bumper boats and yelling it looks like at least for now it is over. Maybe they are looking for a more exciting fishery, like trolling. Imagine the drama when the bell is ringing on the port heavy and the scramble back to the pit. The dialogue might go Uh you get this one, I just poured a cup of coffee. Oh looks like they are all going oh no... ...... we're shallow, and hung up.... dang! Scenes like that may bring in the viewership. Maybe call it Hook Line and Whiskers. What do you think?
