try the Shyone which is located in Juneau. It's a thermodyne, (glass) but suffers from lack of attention. From what little I understand, the permit is available along with the boat and includes all gear. Not listed on any web site, but if you call the local juneau ship yard, they might point you in the direction of the owner.

I know of a Elizabeth Ann that use to belong to a Mick Diamond some 15-20 years ago if my memory serves me right. Mick lived in Sitka at that time and was a pretty good machinist. guess I'm not much help but it used to be in the hands of a pretty capable guy.

I also recall Mick owning the Elizabeth Ann 25 years ago. Mick did a pretty good job keeping the boat in order. Very nice boat but I have not seen the boat for a while so I cannot tell what condition it might be in. Good Luck!
Yeah, Mick Dimond had it and kept it nice. Then Ken Baxter had it for a while. He's an incredible fisherman...not sure if he's one for boat maintenance though. Ken sold the boat to Scott Miller in 1995. Scott took real good care of it the years that he was fishing it. He re-powered it in the late 90's with a rebuilt 6-71 I believe. He seemed to let it go the last couple of years that he had it as he was guiding and not trolling. I don't know anything about the current owner, but I do know that the cold winters in Haines are hard on wood boats. Good sea boat and catches in my opinion.
