Anybody know what I'm going to find if I steam into Port Protection in a month?

Not sure at the moment. I'll get a update. I do know that Jack is buying for the spring openers. The store is open and the other rooms in that building are usable. I'm guessing that the restaurant is closed. Fuel is available but ice is the question. I've heard (3 wks ago) that Jack has been having generator problems(the replacement died). The Solstice Jam/party is a go for 6/18-19 on the beach at Terry's beach. I've got the news...Jack is 99.9% up and running. From what I hear, the "drink ice" machine in the liquor store in down but the freezers and fish ice is a go. The washers and showers are working too. The generator shed and warehouse is a total and some damage to the East wall of the store and upper apartment. Docks are all there and it seems to be business as usual. Good luck this summer

Just got back from the PPV "Summer Solstice" cook off and music/jam party! FIRE sure can leave an ugly mess! The Philips tender Otter had a fire a few wks ago. Dave has bought the "Cape Ominey" to replace it and is planning to work the same Hole in the Wall routes this year. Looks like it will be an improvement over the Otter but with same friendly service as always. I watched him unload freight to Jack. Not sure if Dave can pick from both sides but he removed the picking booms and put the Otter's knuckle on.
