I was readying thought the proposed distribution rules and thought it might gives us something to do in the winter. I am going to guess at what the checks will look like.

$1,500,000 divided by the GHL for 2009 of 118,960= $12.60/fish.

Power trollers get $825 plus 12.60/fish. The per fish number goes up with fewer people turning in paperwork. The per fish number may be off because the $825/permit may come out of the original $1.5 million. I also used the GHL instead of the actual harvest because I was too lazy to look up the final number.

I anyone would like to refine my number, please do. I know that the average redemption rate on gift cards is less that 90%. Rebate redemption is less than 40%. I'll bet we get better that 70% of trollers to return their forms on time and completed.
