Thought I would see what the opinions out there were on Lexan vs lamanated glass for forward house windows.I am replacing some badly hazed over lexan and not sure if I want to go with glass?

Acrylic will crack easily if the fasteners are installed too tightly, laminated glass is super hard and won't scratch, but is kinda tough to fabricate if you don't have the right tools, and polycarbonate is the best if you're worried about blowing them out, but polycarbonate scratches easily, and will haze, or craze if you get stuff like oil or gas on it. Good luck with your choice.

as long as the windows aren't too large I'd recommend using using plate glass. It doesn't scratch or discolor becoming opaque, but make some lexan covers that you can put on in case you're stuck out in bad weather.

I found some polishing compound designed for them.Going to see if I can clean them up enough to get me by for a while?
Thanks for your input.
