Anyone know if the 211 comnav remote requires any "set up" for use with a 1001. I never had the manual for the 211 remote (was a loaner) and can't find one online. Only could find the "installation instructions". I'm having trouble using the tiller function. It's really buggy despite several attempts recenter the tiller lever. Steers stbd fine but port has a mind of it's own.
Trying to get untied and fishing but have been getting waylayed. I discovered upon returning to my boat after six months down south, my engine was overflowing with mystery fluid. was pretty perplexed but a tip from my neighbor pointed me in the right direction. I discovered my hydraulic fluid resevior was empty and put two and two together. Got the clutchmaster at the shop for new seals. :)
I think there's a setting on the comnav head unit for which type of remote your using. I don't have my manual handy though, so can't say for sure.
