So I found some gurdies I am thinking about buying for my boat and the lady didn't know much about them but said they were J Swan gurdies. I have never heard of these, do any of you know anthing about these type of gurdies?

I've heard of: Hasbra, Kolstrand, Simplex....then there's Easthope. "J Swan"? Haven't heard of them. Sounds more like a boat name.
Did you see them? Are they metal? Nylon?

J Swan was sort of Canada's Kolstrand. They made gurdies and many kinds of hydraulic winches. Their anchor winches look super.

I ended up getting some 3 spool Kolstrands for really cheap. Thank you tho.
