Summer Break

The boat was converted to an outboard which left a large void below the deck -- where the engine used to be -- for fish storage. Its flying bridge was also removed yielding considerable space for additional coolers and/or punt storage.
The FV Barbara Ann (some info is available on the CFEC site) cruises on a recently-rebuilt Yamaha 200hp outboard and trolls very economically on a Mercury 9.9 4-stroke kicker with less than 100 hours.
The trolling gear is all removable so, being a teacher, I troll in July and August then take all of the gear off and use it as a pleasure boat in the off season. The large cabin is equipped with propane heat and a propane stove, a sink, an enclosed head, and an ice box. It sleeps 4 comfortably. The boat also has trim tabs, Seastar hydraulic steering, a Caulkins trailer, and a top speed of around 23 knots.
My wife and I made several 3-4 day trips last year and were very comfortable, but will have a new addition onboard this season (a daughter). We bought a 34' Wahl troller and just can't justify keeping the Fiberform at this point.
With poles, gurdies, davits, and the kicker, I am asking $7500 OBO. If you don't need these items, we can negotiate a lower price.
The kicker is also available seperately for $1700. It comes with dual function throttle controls and a Panther electrosteer remote control unit that allows you to steer the kicker from anywhere onboard.
The boat is currently on the Prince of Wales, but we can get creative for delivery. Among other options, I have a friend who offered to tow the boat behind his seiner as far as Sitka this June. I think that we could load the trailer on his deck too.
