*SOLD* a fiberglass troller, built by Marine Technical Services of Tacoma, Washington. The boat has no permits, and is rigged for salmon. The vessel LOA is 34', breadth is 10'.8", Depth is 6'.8", motor sail hull design, with a full keel. There were several of these built for commercial fishing, and it is an excellent salmon troller. It has a 3-353 Detroit, holds approximately 300 gallons of fuel, 100 gallons of fresh water, water heater, toilet, holding tank, Force 10 Range, Furuno Radar, Garmin Plotter, Raytheon Color Fish Finder, Ben Mar Auto Pilot, etc. Includes, Hasbrau gurdies that are mounted on a hay-rack. Heavy ground gear for anchoring, all aluminum rigging-professionally designed. The fish hold is insulated and large, currently set up with bags for slush ice. I would like to attach a picture to this email, but can't figure out how to do it. I have many pictures of the vessel in and out of the water, will send them to you if interested. My email is [landre@aol.com] and I'm asking $38,000.00

Hi, have been busy with holiday stuff, the boat is located at Pillar Point Harbor, Half Moon Bay, CA. This is just below San Francisco, CA.
I've seen it, it's a sweet boat inside and out. Looks heavily built with a big keel i suspect.

Hi, I was the owner of this vessel, but it is now sold. To all of you that asked for pictures and information, I believe I addressed everyone, if not and I missed you-sorry. The first person that came to look at the boat gave me a check, and it has taken this long, from February until today May to complete the sale. The most time consuming event was getting the boat surveyed. The ocean was rough, and I finally made it to San Francisco. The survey was good, I had the bottom painted and replaced the zincs. I guess the most dis heartening thing is that I just found out that this guy is not going to use this boat for commercial fishing. Wow, I couldn't believe it, actually it is sad that a boat like this is being taken out of the fishery. I fished her for 23 years, my next thing is to figure out how to get this add off the list of items for sale.
That's too bad she won't be fished anymore, I saw the boat the last time she was for sale and really liked it. Amazing there wasn't something cheaper there that wasn't already rigged for fishing.
I've marked it as sold.
Cheers,
Jon

I believe this is the boat Jim Wild of Elfin Cove owned for a few years. Nice boat, sorry to see her leave the troll fleet.

I called on this boat when it came up for sale thinking it was the vessel "True North" which is still lying at Sealing Harbor in Sitka(and not for sale). These boats were built in the 70's by Marine Technical and were known as their True North Troller. The one in Sitka happens to be named the True North, as well. Another one of this type (I believe) is the Tianna which is also in Sitka. The vessel "True North" is owned by a guy in Kodiak and it is still fished in SE.
Ah, I did not realize it wasn't the one Sealing Harbor.

Wow,
What a story, two boats with the same builder, same hull, same name. Thanks for the correction and the addition that the Tianna is the same hull.
