This picture was taken in 2007 at the haul out yard in Sitka, AK. We spent 14 days out of the water working on the hull and deck. We then went back in the water and spent two more weeks on the pilot house, stack, boom, and pit. We hired a professional corker and a shipwright for the serious work while we did the scraping, sanding, seam filling, and painting.

These last 5 photos are much older than all the others. Lots of work was done after these were taken - the seats were re-upholstered, a new ceiling was installed, the exhaust area was wrapped in soundproofing, and the pilot house was repainted. The alternator was upgraded and replaced with a 90Amp version. The washdown pump was removed and replaced with an electric pump. Soundproofing was added in the engine room, the electrical wiring was improved and lots more.

Do you still have this boat? As a 1971, is it insured/insurable? When you filled the seams, what did you use? Do you actually get any benefit out of your trolling valve? I have one of those stupid things on a TD506 and it is fairly useless for me considering the price tag. 10 seems a bit narrow, I've got a 33X9 and she rolls. How is the roll on that one? The 36 refers to overall or keel?
Thanks...
Yep, I've still got it. It can be insured.
The seams below the waterline were filled with bearshit and the seams above were filled with DAP 33 window glaze mix. The deck and bulwarks seams were filled with Sikaflex. I don't have a trolling valve on the engine. It's a heavily built boat - you step on from the dock and it has a slight movement. On the ocean she will roll when beam-to the seas, but when the stabilizers are in the water she becomes very stable and doesn't roll much. 36' is the overall length.

"IF" the boat is still for sale, where is she located? Are you there with the boat and available for sea trial etc?
Thanks,
Barry
She's in Pelican, AK and we'll be up there in a couple weeks to a month. We may take her to Sitka so that it's easier to show her off.

Afternoon Jon,
I am interested in your boat... Was curious if a recent survey has been conducted? Also, will you be around Sitka or somewhere other than Pelican for a showing?

Hello Again Jon,
Was wondering if your boat is still for sale? Could you please give me a call at 360-298-2498 or 360-606-4246 when you get a chance. Appreciate it, Megan
Hi Jon,
I would like to talk to you about the boat as well. I'm in Petersburg and would like to take a look at it (Sitka or Pelican are ok for me). If you could give me a call that would be great (907)518-1468.
-Lynn
We are leasing the boat for a month, but it's still for sale for $30,000. It's in Sitka now and you can stop by and take a look. Fred is leasing it and has the first option to buy it. We don't have any cell coverage since we're in pelican.
