Specs:
The boat has been well cared for under my 5 years of ownership. Zinc and bottom paint every year. Topside painted every other year. I have taken a lot of pride in this boat and have spent a lot of time, money and energy making improvements. It has been in service pretty much year-round and not neglected. I am currently fishing it and everything is in excellent working order.
In 2011 the boat was hauled out for 2 months and underwent major surgery as I spent over $25,000 and about 800 hours of my own labor working alongside 3 shipwrights rebuilding the hull. All new sister frames (46) from stern to mid engine room. 26 new planks. Refastened 75 percent of hull (3000 fasteners). Refastened the ceiling. New concrete ballast. New shearstrake and guards / UHMW guard around stern, corking, etc.
4-71Detroit with Capitol gear - engine has low hours, runs perfectly and has been problem free. Oil changes every 200 hours. Boat does 10 knots, I have always ran it around 6.5 - 7 and use about 2.2 gallons per hour running, trolling is about a gallon an hour. Spare starter, alternator and many other parts. New injectors installed (2010).
