The Dixie is a great boat that has had many caring owners in its past, its condition is a testament to that. The Dixie is also a great sea boat, riding nice in the slop, and also being safe out in the big seas. Its fan tail stern is one of the Dixie's defining characteristics that gives it a great ride in a following sea and also a good work area while trolling and longlining. A good hull and a new main will keep the Dixie out fishing for many more years to come. The Dixie is currently insured, further proving her good condition. It has been an honor to be one of the owners of this historic and beautiful fishing vessel, and I have taken great pride in caring and maintaining her. The Dixie II is a turn key troller, ready to go catch salmon. I'm sure I have forgot to add somethings the boat is equipped with so if you have any questions please message me or call. Im asking $50,000 OBO call me at (907) 738-1560

The Dixie II is moored in the same harbor as our troller, I've admired and looked over this vessel for many years. She is as stated; one of those trollers that is ready to take a load, has been kept in pristine condition with everything laid out to perform and withstand the elements and time. She is a prime example of a wood troller I'd readily transition to in a second even being that our troller is fiberglass and reliable, the 50k is more than fair as an asking price. It will be a lucky soul indeed who inherits this fine sea going vessel.

I feel like I need to chime in here, too, because I was shopping for a boat for nearly three years and found almost all junk, owners with unrealistic views of their boats condition, swindlers, liers, and just all out scoundrels. I just bought my boat a couple months ago and if I had sen this boat on the market I would have snapped it up in a second. This boat and owner are top-notch and anyone looking for one of the classics that is in great condition, this is the one. There are not too many on the market, or off, that are like this boat. And considering the asking price, well.... I envy whoever gets this one but it would be a real shame of it sells to someone who lets her go to pieces.
