You've probably seen it elsewhere, but good news is often outnumbered by bad. So I wanted to make sure that everyone saw that the Alaska Supreme Court will not allow the Cook Inlet set net ban initiative to appear on a voter referendum as it is illegal to allocate resources that way under Alaska State Law.

The Charter group spokesman, Conners, is already (continuing) to lie about what this means by saying: "...it's a license now to kill everything that's out there and nobody seems to be concerned about that". We know what bullshit that statement is.

So, I take heart that the Alaska Supreme Court still sees the value of commercial fishing.
