Looks like it will be 2 days a week, with a 1000 fish limit to start. I hope we get at least a 25% hatchery contribution to justify the opening. It'd be nice to have a 2000+ fish limit in the future. I'm optimistic that we'll get a bunch of those St. Nick kings.

Looks like the management plan for the spring fisheries will be out early next week. Then we'll have a final map of the area. The last map I saw was different than the one they distributed at the ADFG port meeting. Now it's all of St Nick, Trocedaro, and right in front of town. Should be enough room for us.

Yes, they just came out with the spring management plan. http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/FedAidpdfs/RIR.1J.2014.04 It's got the boundaries on page 16. Not sure what days of the week it will be, but the rumor is that it'll be Tues/wed, but that's just dock talk. I'll post when I find out the days for sure.

Monday and Tuesday the 5th and 6th for the first opener. I put the lines in my computer, it looks like a pretty decent spring area.

I couldn't get that link to open either. Maybe this one will work better for you:
