Hi All:

The Young Fishermen's Summit is coming up and I hope a lot of our new fleet members will try to attend. It's a great opportunity to talk to seasoned fishermen and industry reps and to get up to speed on regulations and issues affecting your business. As usual, the Sea Grant folks are pulling together a worthwhile agenda for the summit. This year's topics include:

Business management, financing, insurance, marketing, fishery management, regulatory arenas and public participation. [url=http://seagrant.uaf.edu/map/workshops/2013/ayfs/agenda.php][url]http://seagrant.uaf.edu/map/workshops/2013/ayfs/agenda.php

Don't think you can afford to go? Many organizations and businesses - including ATA - donate to the summit and there are some travel scholarships available. Deadline to apply is November 24th - so check it out today!
