Gents,
Curious what the standard sounders that the troll fleet is using right now? The boat I'm buying has the FCV 667 on it, and it has a bit less power/smaller screen than I'd like. Any thoughts on the FCV 292 or some of the newer Furuno offerings?
I've got a furuno 620. I got it because that was the most I could afford to spend. Not the biggest display, but the numbers are pretty big. I can read the numbers from the pit on my 47' boat.
One of those huge displays would be nice, but I can't really afford to spend that much on something that does the same job as what I already have.

I am needing a new fish finder too. I am leaning towards a Furuno 587 - a 600 watt 50/200 khz transmitter.
I currently have a KODEN 812 (near the same - older) but the screen is starting to blur a little. I love the power it has though.
