I was wondering if anybody out there would be able to recommend a good water stain remover for fiberglass. I have that yellowish stain taking over the bow of my hull. I know there is variety of brands that advertise it will remove water stains but I am not sure which one to choose. If you have had good success with a certain type, your input would be appreciated. I have been told there is a spray on and wash off brand but nobody has been able to tell me the brand name.
Thanks, Ed

FSR or was it FRS? is a good product. I've seen it at Murry's and at the lumber store. It's a wipe on wash off blue translucent jell. Did good on rust stains from the rub rail bolts too. (be sure to start from the water line and work up) I was once told that osflo works but it seamed to leave the hull tacky. After that a wax will be a good idea. I've tried mineral oil for the high gloss finish but found that the wax did fine and will last most of the summer. Other than that the marine store has the West Marine systems products that all the "yacht-ies" use and works ok.
